Mega Evolutions: Mega Brave (m1L) & Mega Symphonia (m1S)

Mega Evolutions: Mega Brave (m1L) & Mega Symphonia (m1S)

On August 1, 2025, two brand new Pokémon expansions will launch in Japan: Mega Brave (Japanese: メガブレイブ) and Mega Symphonia (Japanese: メガシンフォニア). Together, they mark the start of the new Mega Series and celebrate the grand comeback of the popular Mega Evolutions in the Pokémon Trading Card Game!

Mega Evolution is back – with Mega Lucario & Mega Gardevoir

For the first time since the XY and Sun & Moon series, Mega Evolutions are returning to the Pokémon TCG. This time, they appear as powerful Pokémon ex, worth three Prize cards. The focus is on:

Mega Lucario ex
(Japanese: メガルカリオex)
in the Mega Brave set

Mega Gardevoir ex
(Japanese: メガサーナイトex)
in the Mega Symphonia set

Both cards utilize the classic evolution mechanic and feature a redesigned black and yellow ex symbol, used exclusively for Mega Pokémon. The designs combine modern holo technology with a strikingly dynamic style that perfectly showcases the raw power and elegance of the Mega forms.

Two Sets, Two Styles: Brave and Symphonia

Mega Brave is aimed at those who love action, strength, and edgy designs. With Pokémon like Salamence, Infernape, and Mega Lucario, this set focuses on offensive power and explosive dynamism.

Mega Symphonia, on the other hand, is melodic, elegant, and almost dreamy. Here, Pokémon like Sylveon, Primarina, and, of course, Mega Gardevoir are in focus – all presented in a particularly artistic way, with a touch of music and magic.

Premiere in the TCG: Full Art Item Cards

A true novelty: Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia are introducing Full Art Item cards for the first time. These Item cards come in the same extravagant style as Full Art Supporters: with expansive artwork, golden accents, and a refined finish.
